New Movies — ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close’ and ‘Red Tails’

Now that the holidays are officially dead and buried, studios are back to releasing new films at a brisk pace — and this weekend, you’ll have your choice of four.
Sandra Bullock and Tom Hanks star in ‘Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close,’ in which a young boy is convinced that his father who died in the 9/11 attacks has left a final message for him hidden somewhere in New York City.
‘Haywire‘ is the story of a highly-trained government operative who seeks revenge after she’s double-crossed by her own people.
In the World War II-set ‘Red Tails,’ the untried and untested African-American pilots of the experimental Tuskegee training program are given the ultimate chance to show their courage.
And ‘Underworld Awakening‘ features Kate Beckinsale as Selene, a vampire warrioress who escapes imprisonment to find herself embroiled in a dangerous battle between two opposing clans.
