Hamilton Police are continuing their investigation of a death in a home on South 4th Street last week, but are releasing no details.

Hamilton Police Chief Ryan Oster said that no criminal charges have been filed. Two friends of Thaut, who were in the house, are being held on previous drug charges. They are Richard and Candice Sullivan.

Officers are finished with their examination of the home at 408 South 4th, where the body of 25-year-old Robert Thaut was found by officers, who were called to the scene late Tuesday evening, January 28.

The autopsy results from the State Crime Lab in Missoula have not been released. Oster said further search warrants have been obtained and are being served this week.
