No-Show Juror Arrested For Contempt [AUDIO]

Byron Watson was arrested this week for failure to show up for jury duty. Missoula Deputy County Attorney Shawn Thomas says Watson was charged with failure to appear for jury duty and contempt of court, both misdemeanors. My interview with Thomas is attached.
Judge Karen Orzech fined Watson $50 and six months in jail with all but 24 hours of the sentence suspended. He must also pay court costs at the rate of $50 per month starting on March 30th.
