Non-Fiction Authors Crowd into Hamilton’s Chapter One Book Store
Entertainment comes in all forms in Hamilton. This month, Chapter One Book Store has three dates for authors to present their latest true-life adventures.
Jon Turk is first to present portions of his new book, "Crocodiles and Ice: A Journey into the Deep Wild." Jon has had encounters with animals such as crocodiles and polar bears and has lived to tell the tale. Turk will be at the book store at 3rd and Main in Hamilton Tuesday, September 20. His presentation starts at 6 p.m.
The next night, September 21, Susan Marie Conrad will be signing her book, "Inside: One Woman's Journey through the Inside Passage." The book details her paddling adventure on the Inland Passage from Seattle to Alaska.
A week later, September 28, the popular Pete Fromm will visit Hamilton to read from his non-fiction effort, "The Names of the Stars: A Life in the Wild." The presentation will again start at 6 p.m.
All the readings are free to the public. Of course, if you want to read more, copies of the books will be available for sale.
