The snow started to fall Tuesday evening, as expected. It was a gentle little dusting at first. But, as the night went on, the accumulation grew to about three to four inches in the immediate Hamilton area.

Then, throughout the day Wednesday, it kept coming. Another 4 inches, as least, with the storm slowly moving over the top of the Bitterroot Valley and throughout Montana.

At 3pm Wednesday, no cancellations have been received by the radio station, but we expect some to happen as the snow level increases in the next 24 to 48 hours. That seems like an incredibly long storm. Well, it is. Here's the weather satellite photo from mid-day Wednesday.

The infrared shot shows you how the weather is coming off the Pacific into the Northwest.

KLYQ will keep up with weather, on the air at 1240 AM in Hamilton. And we'll also keep you informed here on-line and on our Facebook page. I will be Tweeting any cancellations and such, too. Just look for KLYQ.
