The Montana State University "Shakespeare in the Parks" is well known for providing entertainment and a bit of the classics to Montana audiences for years and years.
And the actors seem to love the plays and the enthusiastic audiences from small towns in Eastern Montana to the crowds we get here in Hamilton.
Wednesday night at about 6pm, the fun starts with one of William Shakespeare's best comedies, "Much Ado About Nothing." The troupe will perform the acts, sticking closely to the script, but setting the action during the American Civil War. Carol Burnett would fit right in. Those who've attended the Hamilton free performances know that it's a perfect way to have a picnic at 5pm, and settle back for great entertainment at 6pm under the welcoming trees of the Daly Mansion grounds.
The Hamilton Players and a cadre of local supporters make the play possible in the Bitterroot Valley. We thank them.
