Our Choice for the Most Photographed Mountain in the Bitterroot Valley

The view of Trapper Peak from the air. (Fullerton Photo)
Trapper Peak is one of the magnificent mountains in Ravalli County that draws people to the Bitterroot Valley.

This photo is one I snapped a few years ago, while flying by in a small plane. The views of the mountains from the air is unforgettable. They line up along the Bitterroot Valley, north to south, in a seemingly straight line, and stretch out to the west into Idaho – miles and miles of wilderness, trees, rocks and snow.

Now that spring is upon, get out and explore your surroundings. Another great view is on the Top of Trapper Peak.
