Harrison Ford was a guest on last night's 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' to promote his movie '42' and naturally the discussion came around to 'Star Wars: Episode 7' and the future of the franchise. Ford tried to stay mum and say he couldn't talk about anything 'Star Wars,' but when he agreed to some questions from the audience, things got heated and Ford walked off the set. After all of the excitement that came with its announcement, things have gotten very quiet on the 'Star Wars Episode 7' front. However, pages from a mysterious 'Star Wars' project titled 'Star Wars: Reclamation' have appeared online, suggesting that Disney may have more in the works than we know about.
It's important to note that most, if not all 'Star Wars: Episode 7' talk at this point is unofficial chatter -- Harrison Ford seems to "think" he'll be coming back, everyone seems to "think" the new trilogy will focus on the children of Luke Skywalker, and Han Solo and Princess Leia, etc. That said, the latest 'Star Wars' alum seemingly throwing his name into the pool is our second favorite droid C-3PO. (Obviously R2-D2 is our favorite).
As you most likely already know, reports of Harrison Ford's involvement in the upcoming J.J. Abrams-directed 'Star Wars: Episode 7' came out a while back followed by a statement from George Lucas saying that him, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill were all in negotiations. Plus even Ford himself said he "thinks" it's a sure thing -- but that's apparently all he has to say on the matter and he won't discuss it further. Seriously.

There was much fanboy rejoicing when is was learned that Lawrence Kasdan was on board to write a new 'Star Wars' spin-off movie and consult on 'Star Wars Episode 7.' After all, this is the man who wrote 'The Empire Strikes Back,' a movie that isn't just the best 'Star Wars' movie, but one of the best science fiction movies ever made. Although the full details of whatever Kasdan is working on (a Yoda movie? Young Han Solo?) are buried in an underground bunker somewhere, he recently spoke about his involvement in the new films.
There are so many directions to go with possible 'Star Wars' spin-offs, and though one of the most appealing things about 'Star Wars - Episode 7' is that it wouldn't be more back-story, there's a rumor we may get stand-alone adventures from some of the characters in the universe. And word is that Yoda might get his own movie.
'Star Wars: Episode 7' will be directed by J.J. Abrams and now that we know this, we can turn our rumor-mongering attention to who is going to star in the film. We've previously heard that Chloe Moretz was pitched for the lead role, which might mean a female Jedi will lead the new trilogy. And one of the female actors who has worked closely with J.J. Abrams over the years - Keri Russell - says she would love to be a part of Abrams' new 'Star Wars' universe.
