Downtown Hamilton filled with parade observers for a sunny afternoon Hamilton High School Homecoming Parade. Leading the parade was the Hamilton High Marching Band under the direction of Shawn Thacker.

Behind the band was the first several fire trucks bringing the fall sports teams down Main Street of Hamilton. In that first truck - the Hamilton Bronc football team. The Friday afternoon parade included floats from high school classes, and crowds of marchers from the Hamilton Middle School and Daly School. There was a contingent of teachers walking the route, too.

The homecoming week included daily class-vs-class competitions at the high school and popular Wednesday evening bonfire with a little "Sweet Caroline" singing.

A turbulent finish for an opposing team member at the Homecoming Parade in Hamilton. (Steve Fullerton, Townsquare Media)
