The Hamilton School Board is in the process of hiring a new district superintendent to replace Duby Santee, who is retiring in June 2012.
The board would like the school staff and the general public to comment on what they'd like to see in a new superintendent. The board has prepared a short questionnaire that's available on the district website or at any public school office in Hamilton.
The survey asks:

  • What do you consider the top three most significant strengths of Hamilton school district.
  • What are the two or three most important challenges for the district.
  • What would you like to see changed in District #3.
  • What are the core competencies and skills you expect from a superintendent.
  • Other comments.
The school board is moving fairly quickly on the hiring process, so head to the website or grab a form at one of the schools and fill the out form as soon as possible.
