A premiere Canadian folk music trio will be having some fun in Hamilton Friday night, March 23. The Quebec folk music band, De Temps Antan, will close out the latest season of the Bitterroot Performing Arts Series at the Hamilton High School Performing Arts Center. After the Hamilton performance, the three musicians - Eric Beaudry, David Boulanger and Pierre-Luc Dupuis - will be heading off for more stops on an East Coast tour.

In the recent Canadian OPUS Awards, the SOLO show of De Temps Antan and Le Vent du Nord won Show of the Year in the World Music category. The two groups will tour this year in Europe.

Bitterroot Performing Arts Series Executive Director Laurie Ruffner expects a high energy set to wrap up this year's very successful concerts - many of them sell-outs. And she's getting ready for the annual "Spring for the Arts" dinner fundraiser for the series April 7th. At that event, some hints will be shared about who is coming to Hamilton in the next season. For more information on Friday's concert or the April 7 dinner contact the Box Office in Hamilton at Signal Square on the 100 block of Main or call (406) 363-7946.
