Ravalli County Accepts Federal Family Funds

Federal funding for the Ravalli County Health Department’s Family Planning Clinic will continue.
The Ravalli County Commission voted 3-2 this week to continue accepting the federal funding for the center, which amounts to about $40,000. The clinic includes testing for STDs, along with birth control, pregnancy and pap testing.
Voting to accept the money were Greg Chilcott, JR Iman and Suzy Foss. Voting against it because of a parental notification issue were Matt Kanenwisher and Ron Stoltz.
