The Ravalli County Fair in Hamilton is about three weeks away, but if you want to exhibit something in the exposition, your paperwork needs to be submitted by end of business Friday, August 10. The Fair Book has all the necessary information and forms and is available at the fair office. However, you can also get the job done on-line at the Ravalli County Fair website.

As one of the state's premiere exhibitors' fair, the fairgrounds are filled with entries from talented people in a variety of divisions - from photography to all sorts of art to quilts, flowers, produce from area gardens and more. The 4-H and FFA categories are usually overflowing, too. By the way, if you're entering the annual Poetry Contest, the poem needs to be complete and entered by Friday. Judges will pick the winners in the weeks before the prize winners present their entries Wednesday, August 29, at the KLYQ Entertainment stage.
