Today, May 2, is the final day to get your mail-in ballot back to the Ravalli County Election Office.

There are seven separate district elections in the county that have been collecting mail-in ballots during the month of April. Today at 8 p.m., the votes will be tallied by the the election judges.

If you have not mailed your ballot back, you need to bring it in person to the Ravalli County Administration Building on South 4th in Hamilton and drop it in the ballot box in front of the Clerk and Recorders office. Otherwise, it will not be counted.

The elections that end today:

  • Hamilton School District trustee election
  • Corvallis School District trustee election
  • Victor School election
  • Florence-Carlton School election
  • Florence Fire District
  • 3-Mile Fire District
  • Ward Irrigation District

    By the way, absentee voting has started for the May 25 Special U.S. Congressional election, which will not be mail-in. On election day, which is a Thursday, you'll go to the polls around the county. The Hamilton polling place has moved from Hamilton High School to the Ravalli County Fairgrounds for this one time only.
