Friday, November 15, the Ravalli County Museum will help you connect with the natural world around us.

The new exhibit – Natural History, How Well Do You Know Your World – will run through April 15 and will cover subjects like geology, animal identification, climate and more.

For instance, you will be able to guess the identity of various animal skulls (see photo) and furs at the exhibit Friday.

Opening the exhibit will be Professor Greg Peters of the University of Montana. He will speak on the subject of how geology affects plants and animals. His public speech will be at 6 p.m. and he will share the evening with the Sunshine Kids, who have some songs and dances relating to the natural world.
