The aging boilers at the Ravalli County Administration Center on South 4th in Hamilton are reaching the end of their expected lifetimes. One has already been replaced.

When another of the four units needed expensive repairs, Facilities Manager Wes Young requested the County Commission replace it. At a meeting Monday morning, they agreed.

Johnson Controls won the bid of $9,630 for 211,000 BTU unit. The Lochinvar boiler is the same model as the one Young is examining in the above photo.
