Ravalli County WIC (Women, Infants and Children) will have two training sessions for farmers about the WIC coupons and how they can be used at Farmers Markets.

Margaret Reardon, in a news release, said the annual "refresher" training will be this Saturday, March 31, at the Corvallis Grange Hall, just west of Woodside, on Dutch Hill Road.

The session will start at 3pm and is free. It is specifically for farmers who need to have annual training.

For those who would like to start accepting WIC coupons at markets or farm stands, a separate session is planned for April 21 at 2:30pm, also at the Corvallis Grange Hall. Any questions about the meetings can be answered at (406) 375-6685. You can also find information about the Farm Direct Program at the WIC on-line site.
