Re-enacting the Past at the Corvallis Cemetery June 25
A fascinating way to learn about local Bitterroot Valley history will take place Saturday, June 25, at the Corvallis Cemetery.
Ray Dunbar said the second ever "Stones and Stories" re-enactments will be for only three hours, 12 noon to 3 p.m., at the cemetery south of Corvallis.
He said people will be standing beside selected gravestones and the public will hear stories of the person buried there. Dunbar said members of homesteading families will be among the re-enactors and there will be information about many of the military veterans buried at the cemetery.
The event is presented by the Corvallis Alumni Association and American Legion Post #91.
Dunbar also told KLYQ that the Corvallis High School All-Alumni Dinner will be at the Old Corvallis Gym that same day. Doors open at 4 p.m. and the dinner will be at 6 p.m. For more information call Ray at 370-4414.
