The lineup reads like a history of great Western Montana bands..and some new ones, too.

A locally produced marathon afternoon of music is planned for the Ravalli County Fairgrounds in Hamilton.

Headlining the event is the ever-popular Big Sky Mudflaps. They present their own style of very "danceable" tunes, but that's not the only jewel of this lineup.

Kirt Miller and Sax Cadillac will be on stage for a set and great stylings of some of your rock favorites. Two female vocalists will be singing their tunes - Kristi Neumann and 907 Britt. Joey and the Frets are getting the guys together for some tunes. Mike Bader BearJam, the Bottom Feeders and Three Eared Dog round out the 8 hours of music.

A group of local musicians and music lovers put together the concert and are excited to get the show going. The adult admission is $20 and more information can be found on Sounds of Summer on Facebook. Advance tickets are at Chapter One Book Store, the Music Box and Higherground Brewing in Hamilton. In Missoula, get tickets at Rockin' Rudys and Worden's Market.
