The Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) Community Liaison Group will be meeting Monday evening, April 11.

Ken Pekoc of the lab said in a news release that this is a regular meeting to update the community on construction and renovation projects at the RML campus. The staff is also planning an overview of their research on the Zika virus, a South American mosquito-borne disease, which is in the headlines.

The community group includes government, education, business, medical and emergency services representatives. The meetings also usually include neighbors in homes that surround the lab facility on South 4th and South 5th Streets.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the Golden Age Club at 727 South 5th, right next to the RML campus.
