Rollin’ with the Riverfest

Saturday, August 13, was the first Bitterroot Riverfest, sponsored by the Bitterroot Water Forum as a way to celebrate the water quality and quantity in the valley. From late morning to early afternoon, kids played in a variety of family-oriented activities.
Then, at about 3pm, the Big Sky Mudflaps, a favorite valley band, took over the River Park and brought the swinging music to those who were lucky enough to attend.
Tentative plans were already being discussed for next year.
