Saturday Gives Hamilton a Break from the Smoke

A bit of a light breeze cleared much of the smoke away from the Hamilton area Saturday morning.

For a while, we can see the Bitterroot Mountains and the Sapphire Range, though still hazy in the Bitterroot Valley, and some areas are still quite smoky. A change in the weather to more fall-like temperatures is expected by the middle of the week.

Air quality at the Ravalli County Courthouse monitor in Hamilton listed the particulate count as “Good” as of mid-morning Saturday, September 29.
