Seven students (and their parents) from Stevensville High School were visiting Washington, D.C., and had the opportunity to visit with Montana Senator Jon Tester.

Tester often meets with students in Washington and when he returns to Montana. A former music teacher, Tester said he looks forward to getting questions from the kids. In a news release, he said, "Some of the toughest and most direct questions I get come from Montana students."

The Stevensville students reportedly asked about everything from how the Democratic Senator's office runs to his reasons for seeking public office. They also asked about current events such as immigration policy.
