The Hamilton Players presents the drama "Shadowlands" by William Nicholson as its final play of the 2010-2011 season. Shadowlands is the true story of CS Lewis, the author of "The Chronicles of Narnia," who meets a brash American fan, Joy Gresham, and her young son. After meeting for tea, their relationship evolves into one of discovery for Lewis, as he questions all he thought he knew about God, life and love.
The cast is stellar featuring Terry Croghan, April Johnson, Paul Gillum, James R. Rude, Brad Hathaway, Tim Nydell, Kathy Daniels and Rich Bucheit.
Performances will be April 8 and 9 at 8pm and April 10 at 2pm, then April 15 and 16 at 8pm and April 17 at 2pm. Tickets are on sale at $14 each. A no-host bar will be provided by the Banque Club prior to the performance and during intermission. The production is sponsored by Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital and Ravalli County Bank.
