Hamilton High School soccer standout Casey Shifflett has been named to the 2011 High School Girls Soccer All-America Team.

The announcement was made by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and major sponsor Adidas. Shifflett was senior captain and center midfielder for the Lady Broncs this past season, and has been an all state player from Montana's South A Conference for three years in a row.

She was also named Montana High School Girls Soccer Player of the Year by the NSCAA, which is comprised of high school coaches.

Only 81 players are selected to the All America team from 8 All-Region teams. Casey joins six players from Texas, two from Oklahoma, and one each from Louisiana and Arkansas on the All-Region VI Team. Here's a link to the NSCAA website.

By the way, she also was this week's Achiever of the Week for the Lady Bronc Basketball's first games of the season.
