Show Your Stuff in Hamilton’s Ravalli County Fair Parade
This year's Ravalli County Fair Parade will be Wednesday August 27 and you can be in it.
It's free to enter. You just have to fill out an entry form and get an official number at the Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce office in Hamilton. And they're open seven days a week.
Categories run the gamut from horse-drawn vehicles to marching units, commercial floats to antique farm equipment.
And if you can make music, we really want to see you sign up!
The theme this year is "Buckles, Boots and Rodeo Chutes," though you're encouraged to use your imagination if you've got a great idea for an entry.
The parade will be organized on the streets around North 8th, starting about 8 a.m., with the parade officially starting at 10 a.m. The yearly route goes east on Hamilton's Main Street, with the official review stand in front of Bitterroot Drug.
Organization of the parade is under the direction of the Chamber's Leadership Bitterroot class and Chris Edwards and Henry Silvero Jr.
1240 AM KLYQ's Steve Fullerton is the announcer again this year for the Ravalli County Fair parade.
The Chamber office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can call Pat at (406) 363-2400.
