Jenn Adams, Tom Catmull and Chris Cunningham perform on their own throughout the year, but Thursday night in Victor they'll come together for a unique musical evening.

The "Songwriters in the Round" concert will be at the Mary Stuart Rogers Performing Arts Center, attached to the Victor School, at 7 p.m.

Adams, co-owner of Rooted Music in Hamilton, has toured nationally and says the "Songwriters in the Round" events happen almost every year in the Missoula-Hamilton area.

Catmull is associated with a number of popular groups in Missoula and Cunningham is part of the Bozeman-area group Storyhill, which has appeared on the Prairie Home Companion radio programs.

The three entertainers will be on stage with their guitars and Adams says the music will flow from solos to duos to trios as the three perform their original compositions.

This is not a holiday-themed show, though. Christmas music might slip into the set, but most of the tunes will be original pieces created during other times of the year.

The unique presentation will include comments from the musicians on how they wrote the songs.

The admission is $15 for adults, with children admitted free. Advance tickets are available at Rooted Music at the corner of Marcus and Skeels in Hamilton. Call (406)363-5491.
