The Montana A Cappella Society brought the Christmas Spirit to the Hamilton Performing Arts Center last Saturday evening.

The singers, under the direction of Don Matlock, celebrated the season with their annual free concert at the Hamilton High School venue.

Songs ranged from almost forgotten music from the 1600s to songs written in 2000s.

The group has made quite a few appearances again this year including the lighting of the Hamilton Community Christmas Tree. Their next concert will be in the lineup for "First Night" in Missoula.

They will be at the University of Montana Recital Hall from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. December 31. Their "Welcome Yule" performance will include some of the same songs heard last Saturday.

By the way, "First Night Missoula" has some incredible local groups in a very family-friendly atmosphere at venues all over the city.
