The Lavene Fire is approximately two acres and is burning actively in timber just north of the Boulder Point Lookout, approximately one mile from the Trapper Peak Trailhead. Some group torching has been reported. Nine smoke-jumpers from Missoula are currently working to contain the fire and additional smoke-jumpers have been ordered and will be on the scene later today. All of the other fires are approximately 1/10 of an acre. No structures or property are currently threatened by the fires. No roads or trails are closed at this time.
