The weather in the Bitterroot Valley cleared just in time for the 37th annual McIntosh Apple Day at the Ravalli County Museum Saturday, October 1.

The huge crowds of people swarmed the streets around the museum with the expanded Farmers Market, along with the hundreds of homemade apple pies, pie by the slice and caramel apple dishes served up, along with apple butter, apple cider, apple chutney and more. The event is a fundraiser for the local museum.

In the evening, another crowd gathered at American Legion Park for the equally successful Liquid Apple Night, celebrating the many varieties of hard apple cider.

Here are some video "slices" of Apple Day.
