Small Businesses Need Safety Plans – Free Help is Available
You don’t need to wrap your employees in bubble wrap (see photo) to have a safer work environment. But you might want a safety plan.
The Hamilton office of Montana Job Service, JSEC, and the Montana Department of Labor & Industry are offering two free seminars in the Bitterroot Valley to help.
Fred Miller, a safety specialist with the Montana Safety Bureau, will present an employer workshop in Stevensville Tuesday February 5 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. That meeting will be at Stevensville’s North Valley Library on Main Street.
The next day, Wednesday, February 6, Miller will host a session at the Bitterroot College, in the Bitterroot Entrepeneur Center on Old Corvallis road at 8:30 a.m. Officials say that the Hamilton class was very close to being full, but for more information call DeLynn at (406) 375-6049.
