Speak Out on Montana Hunting Seasons
The month of January will be filled with public meetings about proposed 2012-13 hunting seasons in west-central Montana. The Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commission will have 12 meetings in western Montana, dealing with game populations and department proposals.
All the meetings will begin at 6:30pm with a report on the status of the game animals and an overview of the hunting plans. Then, at about 7pm, the floor will be opened for comments from the public.

The commission will be taking comments until January 23 and will prepare a final version of the next hunting season at its February 16th meeting, which will be in Helena.
