For years, Steven Weber portrayed Forrest Gump for the Bubba Gump restaurant chain. Now, he's a motivational speaker, much in demand for his homespun advice - some from Forrest and a lot more from himself.

Last year, he became involved with the "Sprinkle Pink" fundraising effort in Ravalli County (where he lives), and helped bring "Sprinkle Gumption" into existence.

The stage presentation includes a true variety show as he shares the stage with local folks from Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital and others with skits, songs and inspirational messages. You might say the show is like a box of chocolates.

Last year, the show was at the Stevensville Playhouse. This year, the Roxy Theater in Hamilton will be the venue October 24, with a pre-party at 5:15 - wine and hors d'oeuvres - and the show starting at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $25 each and are available at the Marcus Daly Hospital website or the Bitterroot Chamber of Commerce office in Hamilton. The money raised will be matched by the hospital for the Aid to Mammography Fund, so that any woman in the county who needs a breast exam can have one.
