On Saturday, what has become a tradition in Hamilton will start at 12 noon. It's the first round of Montana Class A Soccer Playoffs. This year, it's the girls team who are looking to advance in the finals.

The Hamilton Bronc girls, in the Southern A division, will be hosting the Park County High School Rangers from Livingston. The Broncs earned the home-field advantage with their season record of 9 wins 2 losses and 1 tie. For the conference, the Lady Broncs had a record of 6-1-1. They also defeated Loyola sacred Heart 6 to 3 last weekend.

The game will be at the Hamilton Soccer Fields at noon, south of the High School, with ticket sales starting at 10:30, and concessions with the Hamilton Booster Club at 11 a.m. Ticket prices are $7 for adults and $6 for students. It is a state playoff, so Hamilton season tickets will not be honored.

Elsewhere, the Corvallis girls will travel to Whitefish because Whitefish defeated Libby 8-0 in a Tuesday play-in game. Frenchtown will be at Billings Central, Laurel will travel to Columbia Falls.

In Boys Class A playoffs, the Stevensville boys will be in Bigfork, after the Eagles beat Libby 1-0 in a Tuesday matchup. Belgrade will be at Frenchtown, Corvallis is at Billings Central and Livingston is at Whitefish.
