Stevensville Playhouse Needs A ‘Backstage’
People know the Stevensville Playhouse for its “up close and personal” presentations. The room holds about 99 people. But what about backstage?
There really is no backstage in the actual definition of the word. The actors actually are outside, waiting for their cue, or leaving the building to make costume changes in another building.
The first “Backstage Benefit” February 18 will start a building fund to add on to the rear of the building on Stevensville’s Main Street. The Playhouse has received building permits from the city and needs to raise some cash.
At the playhouse Saturday evening, February 18, an hors d’oeuver buffet will be held at 6 p.m. with adult and non-alcoholic beverages. Great entertainment is planned with Jenn Adams, Josh Farmer, Christian Ackerman and Kendal Norris. Live and silent auctions are planned, too.
Find out more and get tickets at the Stevensville Playhouse website or at the theater at 319 Main in Stevensville on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
