A slow moving thunderstorm brought out the power crews and firemen Friday evening in Hamilton and Stevensville.

The storm built over Idaho and moved very slowly to the north, bringing with it wind, rain and lightning.

Strikes came down in Hamilton, knocking down trees and power lines in at least three places. Hamilton firemen responded to fires and power outages, and also directed traffic.

Work immediately started from Northwestern Energy crews to restore power.

The forecast is for more thundershowers this weekend, and forest fire crews are under a "red flag" warning for severe weather.
