The first of two summer plays at the Hamilton Playhouse opens Friday, June 16.

"She Loves Me" was adapted from a 1937 Hungarian play, "Parfumerie" by playwright Miklós László. Director Denise Rose says the plot involves two rival co-workers, each having no idea that the other is actually their romantic pen-pal from an anonymous lonely hearts club.

The play was first turned into the movie classic "The Shop Around the Corner." Then there was the musical "In the Good Old Summertime," and the comedy "You've Got Mail."

Hamilton's cast includes Tasha Lynn, Mara Luther, Nevin Graves, Nathaniel Heckeroth, Edward Ryan, Michael Boris and Brian Jackson.

The musicians are Jeanne Hargett and Rebecca Burns on keyboards, Jack Barnings on percussion and featuring world-famous violinist Tim Fain.

The musical at the Hamilton Playhouse will run three weekends - June 16-18, June 23-25 and July 1-2. The Friday and Saturday shows start at 8 p.m. and the Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m.

Reserved seat tickets are available at the Hamilton Players website or at the Box Office in Hamilton (406) 375-9050.

The show is produced with arrangement from Music Theatre International.
