A record number of runners signed up for the Sweathouse Half-marathon run Saturday in Victor.

Race organizers said over 200 racers registered and the race was run in ideal conditions. The winner for the men was Cory Soulliard at a time of 1:19:33 and the women's winner was Kath Hardcastle at 1:24:05. Both have been previous winners of the race that covers both paved and dirt roads south and west of Victor.

The 13.1 mile run was a Run Wild Missoula event and the awards ceremony was at Cowboy Troys following the race. It is the fifth Sweathouse race, named after the old Native American saunas that were placed along creeks in the area.
