The second weekend of murders will fill the Hamilton Playhouse stage March 1 through 3.

The award-winning Broadway musical has been filling the seats at the auditorium. The show starts at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights and 2 p.m. Sunday this weekend and next weekend, March 8-10.

Eric Monson and Mara Lynn Luther play the murderous leads in the Stephen Sondheim musical, taking the audience back to 19th century London. The madness of Sweeney Todd results in profits for Nellie Lovett's bakery, and everyone is in jeopardy as the play progresses.

A dark play with outstanding music, Sweeney Todd has won awards both in the US and Great Britain. The strength of the voices in the Hamilton production are welcomed by the theater-goers.

The Hamilton Players are already planning their next production. "The Women" is a non-musical comedy, set for April. Auditions for the play will be Monday, March 4, at 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Playhouse. Scripts are available for checkout at Chapter One Book Store.
