Big Hole Battlefield Wants Youth Conservation Corps Applicants

There will be at least three Youth Conservation Corps recruits this summer at the Big Hole National Battlefield, southeast of the Bitterroot Valley.

The National Park Service will be accepting applications until May 1 from youth who are 15 by June 16th and are not age 19 until after August 10

Nez Perce Customs Explained at Big Hole Battlefield

Big Hole National Battlefield Springs into Summer

The Big Hole National Battlefield has transitioned into its summer operating hours, with a newly renovated visitor center.

The battlefield, just over Chief Joseph and Lost Trail Passes from the Bitterroot, will be open from 9am to 5pm seven days a week
