April 15, 2011 The spring prescribed burning program will begin this month on the Bitterroot National Forest. Public Affairs Officer Tod McKay said that the first project will be up Tin Cup at the trailhead and will include a test fire to see if the burning conditions will be good enough to continue the program at this time

April 12, 2011 Five juveniles from the Bitterroot Valley have confessed to vandalizing the campground at Lake Como south of Hamilton.
