A full day of information, history and tips on how to protect your home from wildfire will be on tap Saturday at the Bitterroot River Inn and Conference Center in Hamilton.

The free community conference is called "Wildfire and Home Preparation: How fast can your home run?" and includes over a dozen speakers

Bitter Root RC&D Has A Party Planned!

Three years after the 1962 national kick-off of Resource Conservation and Development councils, the Bitter Root RC&D was established.

This year, the national association celebrates its 50 year anniversary, and the Bitter Root organization will have a dinner "Light Up the Night" evening November 3rd to mark its 47th year.
