When I took this photo, the clouds were an equal part of a color photo of the Bitterroot Mountains. But when I had Photoshop take out the color and then added a bit more contrast, they became the centerpiece of a photo with an entirely different 'feel
In the late afternoon skies in March, the high altitude winds stretched a jet contrail in an interesting fashion. The Bitterroot's Downing Mountain is in the background.You never know, George Noory and his guests on Coast to Coast AM (heard on 1240 KLYQ overnight) might have an alternate explanation for it
