MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) — Officials in Mineral County say a man's body recovered from the Clark Fork River is that of a Superior resident missing since last November.

Clark Fork River Search Called Off

The search has been suspended for a 19 year-old man who jumped off the Madison Street Bridge Wednesday evening and disappeared in the swollen Clark Fork River. Missoula County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Jason Johnson says search and rescue boats and jet-skis traveled down the Clark Fork for several miles, but found no trace of the young man’s body.

Drowning Victim Identified as Seeley Lake Toddler [AUDIO]

Tregedy struck a Seeley Lake family on Friday when two year-old Pearl Butler drowned in Blodgett Creek, just a little over a hundred yards from her home. On Monday morning I spoke with Missoula County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Jason Johnson about the drowning that occurred on Friday afternoon.
