BUTTE, Mont. (AP) — Windblown mine tailings created a haze over Butte, leading health officials to suggest that people with respiratory problems avoid being outside.
Bitterroot Valley residents have had day after day this fall with smoke as their next door neighbor. Now, with the recent snowfall and inversion, thick fog is the new player.
The fog came in Tuesday morning (see photo), and then redoubled in thickness Wednesday morning
