Great Falls Police Respond to Montana Zombie Alert Hoax + Station Owner Declares Montana Too Cold for Zombies [Video] [Audio]

Sgt. Bryan Slavik of the Great Falls Police department says he has received calls from "Australia, the UK, Scotland, India, Canada," as well as "every major news network in Montana." The calls aren't for information about a typical crime though, they're in response to a zombie warning that occurred on local television.

Alaskan Town That Fell Victim to Cruel Taco Bell Hoax Gets Free Tacos

The closest Taco Bell to Bethel, Alaska is almost 400 miles away in Anchorage. That’s why the town’s 6,200 residents were so excited last month when flyers announcing the chain’s arrival in Bethel began popping up.

But it wasn’t to be. The pamphlet was a hoax, put up by a soulless prankster as a way of getting back at a rival by making their phone number the number to call for a job at the make believe new fast food restaurant.

Alaskan Town Falls Victim to Cruel Taco Bell Hoax

Here in the lower 48 we take for granted our “fourth meal.” But if you live up in the frozen tundra of Alaska, you can’t just take a spin to the local Taco Bell. In fact, if you live in Bethel, Alaska, a town of 6000, you would have to drive about 350 miles to Anchorage to grab a late-night gordita.

Which is why Bethel resident were so excited when yellow fliers announcing the arrival of a Taco Bell by this Fourth of July starting appearing around town. Finally the arctic dwellers could “Live Mas.”
