Spokesman for the Lolo National Forest Boyd Hartwig says the Butler Fire is burning in very rugged terrain and is not threatening any structures or homes.

S. Forest Service and Department of Natural Resources and Conservation are working on to small fires in the Missoula area. One fire near the Blue Mountain recreation area was burning in rugged terrain where there are no roads of trails, so helicopters have been making water drops on the fire.
