I've been on a running kick lately. In fact, my goal this year is to finally run Bloomsday 2013. As a born and raised Spokane native I'm actually shocked and disappointed in myself for never taking part in this annual tradition. This year, no excuses. And to get myself thoroughly prepared for this challenge, I'm going to attempt to take in as many Missoula-area 5K's as I can between now and then.

Volunteering for Peace Corps is Popular in Western Montana

The University of Montana noted recently that Missoula is ranked second in the nation for producing per capita US Peace Corps volunteers. Um has produced 780 Peace Corps volunteers since 1961.
