It's been one of the most heated controversies in Missoula over the past few years, where the new Missoula College should be located. UM officials have steadfastly maintained that the South Campus, the current location of the UM Golf Course, was the sole choice. Not anymore.
The long wait for funds to build a new Missoula College is almost over. The Montana Legislature approved a direct appropriation of $29 million dollars as part of the governor's jobs bill, and now awaits his signature.
