The Montana State University athletics department has adopted a slightly changed Bobcat logo and has changed the font of the block letter "M."

The old bobcat logo had been in place since 2004. This version makes it a little more realistic-looking, according to MSU officials

MSU Faculty to Vote on Whether to Keep Union

BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Voting is beginning this week on whether to keep Montana State University's faculty union.

Ballots are being mailed out Wednesday to 400 tenured and tenure-track professors after more than 30 percent of the professors requested a union decertification vote with the state Department of Labor and Industry.

Christian Fritsen, formerly of Corvallis, Montana, and a former post-doc researcher at MSU Bozeman, has co-authored a study on bacteria that live in an under-ice lake in Antarctica.
